19th Bucharest International JAZZ Competition 2025 @ EUROPAfest
- Date: July 4 - 12, 2025
- Application deadline: March 1st, 2025
- Eligibility: open to instrumentalists and vocalists of all nationalities, aged up to 45 years ( born after 1st of July 1980 ). Group leaders may be older.
- Prizes: The total amount is 7.000 Euro, in cash and concerts opportunities
- Activities: competition, concerts, jam sessions, workshops
The competition provides an unparalleled
platform for musicians to connect, collaborate and showcase their talents on an international stage. Our previous edition in 2024 brought together 20 bands from 20 countries making it a truly global celebration of jazz.

Digital documents

- copy of passport | identity card for EU citizens, for each group's member
- application form - Annex C
- audio recordings for the competition – mp3
- two different group photos, color, landscape format, min 1MB
- copy of the bank confirmation for the payment of the registration fee of 140 Euro
- short presentation of the group - max. 10 lines, word format
- technical rider
Application Procedure:
All digital documents will be sent using www.wetransfer.com as follows:
- make a folder and name it as your band
- copy all digital documents ( application form A,B,C, copy of ID / passports, audio recordings mp3, photos, copy of the bank payment, presentation of the group technical rider ) in the folder
- archive / compress the folder ( zip )
- send the folder by www.wetransfer.com to email addresses: office@jmevents.ro and jmevents.ro@gmail.com
- please mention: “Application for jazz competition – band’s name”.
