Szia!

Boldog születésnapot Róbert!!!

Dear Róbert, I'm delighted to celebrate your 75th birthday, as you've been following my music news for so many years, writing accurate and encouraging articles. Thank you for your passion and your always inquisitive work, and thank you for the precious link you represent with the Hungarian public I hold so dear.

Happy birthday Róbert, Friendly!

Leonardo Pavkovic (MoonJune Records)

Only 25 years to go to achieve the main goal in life, to live 100 years! Hurry up, you can make it!

I’ve known the legendary Robert Maloshick, the tireless jazz enthusiast and impresario, for over a decade.

Even though we never met in person, we kept a very prolific online communication and he was reviewing a lot of albums of my record label MoonJune Records, on his excellent jazz oriented website www.jazzma.hu.

Robert was always very cordial, and with the open-minded inclusive attitude, he let my version of crazy wild jazz & beyond to be featured on his great website, and to have deserved exposure in Hungary.

It’s just a question of time when I will be back to Budapest after more than 4 decades, to re-visit that beautiful city. The last time I was there as a 'poor’ University student who lived for  years in the ex-Yugoslavian capital city of Beograd, with a few Yugoslavian friends, one of Hungarian descent, to see Omega, the legendary Hungarian rock band, in November of 1982, at the Népstadion, celebrating the band’s 20th anniversary.

Then, it will be time to enjoy with Robert some Hungarian delicacies, such as Gulyás, Csirke Paprikás, Meggyleves, Dobos Torta, Palacsinta and some great Egri Bikavér wine and Agárdi Palinka.

Long life to jazz and Hungary, and of course, Happy 75th Birthday, Robert!

Nathan Jones (Wirlwind Records)

Happy birthday! We wish you all the best! Take care!
